About the Artist

Gabrielle Bisaro is a mixed-media artist based in Port Macquarie, working primarily with ceramics and paint. Although her mediums span across watercolour, acrylics, ink, and Posca pens, with a focus on vibrant, layered compositions.

Gabrielle draws inspiration from the natural world, particularly the flowers cultivated by her partner and local communities. Her work explores themes of flora, fauna, and the female form.

Recently, her focus has shifted toward dynamic representations of women, infused with bold colour and energy whilst simultaneously incapsulating softness and femininity. Gabrielle’s passion for capturing the complexity of botanical subjects—both in texture and form—continues to drive her creative process, deepening her connection to nature.
